I had this discussion one day, while listening to rEVOLVEr with a friend of mine, that The Haunted sounded more like an American metal band than a Swedish metal band.
Never hear anything from the names with videos before At The Gates. Plus Bloodbath which I'm also totally unfamiliar with. I'll do some exploration.
Soilwork is probably my favorite metal band. Love all of what they do. It's been a long time I have not listened to some of their old stuff.
