RE: Joyful party! Micro-fiction writing contest.
I read it but for me this story is hard to understand...esp "a party to celebrate the moment".

Many very short stories require a bit of interpretation. 😊
The economy of words can make it difficult to explain everything completely. If you add English-as-a-second-language to the mix (either on the part of the writer or the reader) it can be even more complicated.
In this case, I consider the fact that both “party” and “moment” can be interpreted multiple ways. For example, a party can be a planned event with decorations, food and cake, or it can be a sudden festive gathering of people that happens spontaneously.
Similarly, a moment can mean just this minute, or it can mean a special time, like a particular afternoon. (When you think of it in a much larger context, such as decades or eons), an afternoon is indeed just a moment.
Does that help, @wakeupkitty?
Yes that helps for sure, still takes thinking and searching for other meanings of the same word, but I assume if I read and join longer it will be easier. Thanks
