Hair is so self-care! And, with naturally curly hair it is a total barometer of stress or happy hormones. It has such a mind of it's own. When i am haggard it is straightish and frazzled. When i feel good and calm its also nice and calmly curly
When i am excited happy it's extra curly LOL it's funny that way. Though, i could never cut ever 8 weeks. No way! I cut once per year... if that! Srsly, my hair grows slowly and the dryness of curly hair its insane! My self-care practice is to use hand made non-toxic personal care products and housecare products. Though i am struggling a bit with hair style product. Sometimes oil isn't quite enough, i'd like just a little more style! And, i have changed from drinking coffee to dandy blend tea & 5 mushroom blend drinking chocolate. It's so good! Lastly, i love to forage! Soon we'll enjoy wild greens in our salad! Yumm ❤💯🌷

That sounds wonderful @yogajill. I love my coffee LOL. I completely understand about how your mood affects your hair. Mine has just been a mess for the past few months and life has been stressful. I have watched a couple of videos about using flaxseed and making into a gel type substance. It's like raw egg whites, but my hair was so soft and the curls were light.

Yes! Funny you mention it. A girl in our town uses it. I am so slow to the draw with these things. I i really should give it a whirl!! It works great for her! I gave up coffee a few months ago. But, was craving the earthy taste it has. Dandy Tea totally is an excellent replacer (if you're looking for one, which you are not Haha, but in general!) And, it has a lot of health benefits 🤷‍♀️ win-win! #nourish 💯
