Camping in campsites

I pitched a tent in the redwoods and laid out my sleeping bag.
Ate some odd food; beans and macaroni then went to bed.
The critters at night woke me from a restful state.
Opossums scratching at the outside tent walls.

I got up to make some hot chocolate and when I was heating water a giant raccoon jumped on the table.
Luckily all it took was shining flashlight into its eyes to scare it off.
When I was up I also saw an opossum family of five walking around. Early into the morning I saw a small fox. This was the first I had ever seen in real life.

The next morning it was light with sounds of people making breakfasts and walking.
I was very groggy the next day after staying up most of the night.
I hoped this was the last of camping in campsites. I liked seeing the fox but could barely sleep from the critters.
