It's my Phil Robertson coming out. My yard is not a pristine sculpted paradise so the damage is not that bad, but the challenge of trapping those little rascals is a bright spot in my otherwise mundane life.

I thought it was lethal.
I spent some time looking for a word or two that would describe a device that would function after being tripped that killed the creature, but nothing came to mind.

Possibly, but it does not sever the head of the mole.
