SBI Crypto Investments to Offer Derivatives Trading After Investing in US Firm

SBI Crypto Investments of Tokyo has purchased 12 percent of Clear Markets of North Carolina as part of its goal of opening a cryptocurrency derivatives trading platform that caters to institutions, according to the Nikkei Asian Review.   

SBI Crypto Investments is a subsidiary of SBI Holdings, which is itself a subsidiary of SBI Group, which is a financial conglomerate with a market capitalisation of $5.9 billion. The purpose of SBI Crypto Investments is to make investments to advance the cryptocurrency-based ambitions of SBI Group.
