The Purple Monkey

The Purple Monkey owned a pencil sharpener that they would eat. It should have been a fairly strange approach to life, to some, but not to the Monkey, who feels that the idea was stunning. You wouldnt have imagined, a pencil sharpener would be the thing that was chosen.

The Purple Monkey desperately needed a magic 8 ball to try to balance on their head. It might have been a new thought, to everybody you know, but not to the Monkey, who thought it would be stunning. Remarkably, a magic 8 ball would be the item that was chosen.

The Purple Monkey desperately searched for a chocolate bar that they would occasionally break. It would have been a somewhat surprising idea, to my children, but not to the Monkey, who expected it would be magnificent. You wouldnt have thought, a chocolate bar being the item opted for.

The Purple Monkey desperately wanted a piece of paper to put on his head. It would have been a peculiar proposal, to you and me, but not to the Monkey, who expected that this idea was miraculous. You wouldnt have thought, a piece of paper being the thing selected.

The Purple Monkey desperately searched for a can of Dr Pepper that they liked to sleep with. It would have been a fairly unusual activity, to my neighbour, but not to the Monkey, who had come to the conclusion that this idea is simply life. Strangely, a can of Dr Pepper was the chosen thing.

The Purple Monkey needed a bottle of coke that they would occasionally cuddle. It should have been a weird and wonderful idea, to my grandpa, but not to the Monkey, who assumed that this idea is spectacular. You wouldnt have thought, a bottle of coke was the chosen thing.
