Petey w/ AR-15 • Monomad

I shot this street art of Petey posing with an AR-15 rifle last week. Petey was the dog actor from the old-time TV show The Little Rascals. He was an American Pit Bull Terrier famous for his begging poses. The AR-15 rifle is one that is often used in mass shootings. So I could be wrong, but it appears that this street artist is delivering a socially conscious message of Petey begging to put an end to mass shootings.

What do you think the message is here?

I photographed the street art with my Canon 5D camera and 70-200 mm lens.
