The morgenseiten of Katharsisdrill 4 - Crown & Colander

in #morgenseiten7 years ago (edited)

Seems like my morning pages will predominantly be in the afternoon. I never were a morning person after all. I seldom eat breakfast before 9 am, so I am just looking at my poor girls, who are to be at the school at 8, in a sleepy stupor.

I have my head filled with research as my comic is moving into a complicated phase. So I guess this post will have to be comic related again. Yesterday evening Vincent @vcelier talked about the Pastafarians, an atheist joke-religion, that was allowed to wear a colander on their passport picture, just like Muslims are allowed to wear the hijab.

Lindsay Miller famously won the right to wear a colander on her head when being photographed for her Massachusetts driver's licence.

That made me remember a funny thing from my research into the British Druidism. There is a druidic order of former bikers whose leader in 1983 changed his name to Arthur Uther Pendragon claiming to be a reincarnation of the Celtic king. He too had a head adornment on his passports, only this time it wasn't a colander, but a Celtic crown! You can see an image of it here

My friend @shortcut has started to write some posts every morning - #morgenseiten he calls it - morning-pages. Here is his explanation of the project:

It goes like this: you shall each morning write from the soul, anything going through your head.

He writes a lot more, but this is the essence :) (Read his first morgenseiten post here)

I have decided to try the same. I write from the top of my head every morning or late morning if I have been sleeping late. I only correct typos and make a headline afterwards. Else everything is left as written. Expect some of it to sound like stage directions.

Sort:

If I were to do it - then they would be afternoon pages too :-)

This whole thing could be cathartic and an inspiration for the day at the same time. Even though I would start aimlessly and wander around for first few paras, I could actually use something like this to organize my thoughts for the day.

I have also followed the @shortcut post, but I have not been able to fully understand the contents of the comic (maybe the limitations of the language).
but I have taken his advice, wrote every morning from what is on the head, I started doing it, every morning I have written ,,
I also want to follow your morning story ,,

where I am now at 9 pm, tomorrow I will write in accordance with @ shortcut advice, because I also always follow the post.
