Every day is a new start

in #motivation9 hours ago

Some paths and people are very difficult in life to manage and we sometimes feel like it's the end of the road, but yet we need to navigate it and move forward, and then that's where the real growth of life happens. But then some people give up losing all faith in the higher power and do things like committing suicide, not realizing the impact of it on those they leave behind.

Why am I writing this. At one point of time in my life, I was in very stressful situation. It felt like it's just not getting over and I had suicidal tendencies also then. Every now and then I had this thought of ending my life, and to be honest I was scared also to do something to myself, and I guess that's what kept me going. But if there was any such moment where I would have felt completely hopeless probably, I would have given up, and then what. I would have left my family behind suffering in pain all throughout their lives.

Now when I look back, I see those situations as a learning for me. I am for sure in a very better place, though it all looked very difficult and hopeless then but as it is said, there was life at the end of the tunnel. There were other ways to life. Those situations were not permanent for life and with all of those learnings I am better equipped to deal with my life's challenges now. I know for sure that there is going to be a way out if there is a problem. I am aware that everything has an expiry date and so do our problems. Suicide is not the end of problems, rather it is creating more problems for the ones left behind and a lot of trauma at the soul level.

If you see a person struggling with problems and feeling hopeless, be there for them and give them hope. Sometimes all that the person wants is someone to listen to them without forming any judgements. We have all become experts in giving advice, but sometimes the only thing we need to do to help the person is to listen. By sharing their wounds with you a little part of them is healing, which is bringing them into a space of good energy.

Life is a beautiful experience with all its ups and downs. Believe that every day is a new start and a new opportunity.

@nainaztengra, thank you for sharing such a powerful and vulnerable piece. Your honesty about navigating suicidal thoughts and finding strength in seemingly hopeless situations is incredibly moving and relatable. It takes immense courage to speak about these experiences, and your words offer a beacon of hope for others who may be struggling.

The message about being present for those in need, offering a listening ear instead of unsolicited advice, is so crucial. Your perspective on life's challenges having an "expiry date" is a beautiful reminder that things do get better. I'm so glad you found your way through and are now using your experience to uplift others. This is the kind of authentic and compassionate content that makes Steemit special.
