Like any good exercises daily use help improve and strengthen it.
The more you use it the more you improve it.
You can see it in the elderly or after people retire they start to decline in cognitive function and health unless they keep mentally stimulated.

It is incredible how the brain is a muscle. Just like with the muscles of the body that decline if you don't exercise, in the same way, the brain needs exercise or otherwise, it will start aging. I like to play chess sometimes. I play with my old Windows 7 PC and I beat him up to level 7. When I turn to level 8 the PC starts to take more time elaborating the strategy and I basically give up as it is so boring all the time I should wait before the PC make a move.

Ha ha ha yes i know the feeling, I love playing chess too, playing against a computer is always an unfair battle it can compute far much more and be 10 steps ahead easily of each move you could make, but i suppose it gives the brain a good run, i guess like taking a car on the autobahn and letting the cobwebs fly away!!

Nowadays i like an app called Peek which i do daily to help with a variety of cognitive functions. Its great fun really.

Peek ? Never heard that ! Is it this one ?
