RE: Serenity (2019) - Movie Review
Awesome review that really makes me want to give this a watch. Sometimes it's exactly the 5 out of 10 rated movies that are clearly underrated and - in fact - more interesting than the 7 or 8 plus rated ones, because they're not loved by the masses/ average Joe.
I didn't like Eastern Promises much ( being a fan of the older, scifi/ body horror work of Cronenberg ) nor did I love Dirty Pretty Things. Locke was pretty captivating though, due to its restraints/ formula and well written.
The first film I had to think of while reading this post was Dead Calm ( asides from the scifi flick Serenity ) and I also felt some Ozark vibes.
My recommendation would be to wait for it to show up on your streaming service and then stream it for free. 7/10.
This is exactly what I will do
Thanks! :>)
