I am a movie lover always have been since childhood
From cartoons to documentaries action to romance I have always found movies to be my go-to comfort. whenever I feel tired or stressed watching a good film helps me relax recharge and feel inspire.

Last week We celebrated movies based on books which was amazing. But this week is even more special for me because we are focusing on Hidden Gems movies that may not have won awards or gone viral but still left a powerful impact.

So here are 5 underrated movies that I personally love. These are the kind of film that may not have made headlines but absolutely touched my heart. Let me bring them into the spotlight together on steemit

1. The Man Who Knew Infnity (2015)

This is the powerfull Story of Srinivasa Ramanujan a poor men from India with gift for numbers who made it all the way to Cambridge . Its about struggle genius and passion Watching this movie feel like watching history breathe.

Why its underrated: Despite having Dev Patel and Jeremy Irons it never reach mass Popularity.
Why I love it: It taught me that genius can Come from the most unexpect places and that talent needs belief and Opportunity to blooms.

A boy from Malawi uses his intelligence & creativity to build windmill during a deadly famine. Its raw real and powerful. This story show the beauty of the human spirit when we refuse to give up.

Why its underrated: Even though its on Netflix it got buried under big budget film.
Why it inspired me: It remind me of my students – their curiosity their dreams. It’s a teacher dream movie.

A magical journey tell by bedridden man to little girl. Its mix of fairy tale & reality filled with breath taking visual that feel like they were painted onto the screen

Why its underated: Limited release and no major star
Why it amaze me: Every frame is piece of artThis movie is not just watched its felt.

Imagine having the Power to travel back in time not to saved the world but to makes your everyday life better This movie is soft emotional journey that tell us to live fully and love deeply

Why its underrate: Market as romantic comedy but its so much more
Why it stayed with me: It taught me that the most beautiful moment are the small ones We usually ignored.

5. The Secret: Dare to Dream (2020)

Based on the famous book “The Secret ” this film is all about hope mindset and believing in the power of positivity. It came out during the pandemic — maybe that’s why no one noticed it.

Why its underrated: Wrong timing zero buzz.
Why I recommend it: It gave me a boost during tough days. I watched it and thought “Yes good things can still happen.”

Why Are These Movies So Unknown?

Many of these movies didn’t have:

• Huge production budgets
• Big media promotions
• Famous cast or commercial stories
• Or they released at the wrong time like during the pandemic

But what they do have is meaning. And sometime thats worth more than any award.
