SLC-S25/W4-Movie Snapshots | Time Travel and Twist | Predestination 2014

Today I'm going to participate in the SLC contest organized by Dear. @ruthjoe on the title Time Travel and twist. This movie is very lovely and mind-blowing, and also this movie is one of the most favourite movies of mine and I would highly recommend this movie to those who like travel, identity, and destiny. So without wasting any time, let's get into it.

Summary Of The Movie Predestination 2014

• The movie is very interesting and full of twists. The main character in this movie is Ethan Hawke, who works for a secret organization. Basically, his job is to travel through time to stop the big crimes. Among them, one of the big criminals, who is known as Fizzle Bomber, is a big terrorist and has already killed a lot of civilians in the past, so Ethan Hawke is trying to chase and catch this criminal before he does more murders. This is a short summary of the movie known as Predestination 2014.

A Movie That Blows The Mind And Touches The Heart:

• It was 25 December,2023, when I first watched this movie with my friends at my birthday party. That time when the movie begins I was just thinking that it is just a normal movie as other, but after watching the movie I came to know that the movie is not about to chasing a terrorist instead its about like chasing yourself, knowing who you are and understanding the print that sometimes we are our own enemy.

• When this movie begins, that time it was like a simple mission in which a person from a secret organization had to arrest a terrorist, but while arresting we came to know that arresting him is not an easy task for us, as he faced a lot of deep psychological puzzles while being him. Whenever I tried to focus and understand, another twist suddenly came, as this thing surprised me a lot.

• At one point, there were a lot of mirrors in the room, and Ethan Hawke was walking, but instead of his reflection, there were different reflections of Ethan of his old versions. This was so confusing and surprising, too. This part creates some questions in my mind, like,

1: Can we ever escape who we are meant to become?

2: Is our future already written, no matter how hard you try to change it?

Writing Style And Acting:

• The awesome thing about this movie (Predestination 2014) is how well and amazingly this movie is written and how carefully and greatly this movie is presented. Basically, this movie is not as fast as action movies, but this movie is slow, making us think in every part and time.

• Secondly, I would like to say that the Dialogues, like how impressive and great the Dialogues are chosen for this movie. Also, the way the actors presented the Dialogues is superb.

• Thirdly, this movie is made quite differently, like, in the whole movie it keeps jumping from past to future and from future to past. This made me very, very confused and made us think a lot.

Acting Of Actors:

• The acting of Ethan Hawke and Sarah Snook is also very perfect and awesome, especially Ethan Hawke, who acts carefully but very seriously. Especially, we can all see how his heart is full of pain and secrets. On the other side, if we talk about Sarah Snook, who played the role of Jane and John.Her acting is also very wonderful. Her role made me quite sad because of the loneliness she faced.

Why This Movie Left A Deep Mark On Me:

• Basically, this movie is not only for entertainment; it is a movie that makes us think deeply about every single part and point. It made me wonder about who I am. It makes me question whether our choices are truly ours or if we are walking on a path that is already written for us. The biggest shock for me was that when at last I came to know that the main character, Ethan Hawke, was his father, mother, child, and enemy too. This thing made me realize that sometimes when we try to run away from the past, we are running from where it all started.
