  • As of today the moments i saw the theme of the SLC contest ,which is your life on screen the first thing that came to my mind was one of the most underrated movie and one of my favourite movie of all time

  • The name of the movie is The perk of being a wallflower. so now in this contest my dear @ruthjoe has asked us some question that i will answer in order to have a chance to win this contest .

made of canva

  • THE movie that i watched for this SLC challenge is The perk of being a wallflower,The perk of being a wallflowers follows charlie, a quiet and introverted struggling with trauma anxiety and loneliness as he starts high school. Through his friendship with two seniors, Sam and Patrick, he slowly opens up and begins to experience the joy and pain of growing up. The films explores deep themes like mental health, friendship, identity and desire to belong.Told from charlie perceptive it captures the emotional high and lows of teenage life with honesty and heart. It reminds us that even the most silent people worth hearing, telling and healing worth seeking.

  • The perk of being a wallflower reflects a part of my identity by showing the quiet struggle that teenager or young adults often try to hide. like feeling left out, overthinking or trying to find where we belong. Like Charlie I sometimes feel misunderstood or overwhelmed but the films remind me that it okay to be different and that real connection can make us heal and grow even from the wildest traumatic experience.

Five thing that motivated me from the movie to keep pushing

ITS OKAY TO BE DIFFERENT

  • The movie reminded me that being quiet, introverted or emotionally sensitive is t something to be ashamed of. charlie did't pretend to be someone else to fit in, yet he still found people who accepted him and like him for who he is and did't take advantage of it. This motivated me to embrace my true self even when I don't always feel understood.

REAL FRIEND MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • The movie showed how having one or two true friends can completely change your life and make it colourful when its dark. Sam and Patrick welcomed Charlie without judgement and that gave him the courage to open up. it reminded me that genuine connections can pull us out of dark places and help us grow.

HEALING TAKES TIME

  • Charlie journey taught me that emotional pain doesn't disappear overnight and that's normal. he carried trauma from his past, but with time, honesty and support he began to heal. That motivated me to be patient with me self knowing that healing process is not a race and I am allowed to struggle then rise right back up.

YOUR STORY MATTERS

  • Charlie often felt like no one saw or understood him, yet his story was strong and powerful and worth telling. This motivated me to believe that even if i stay quiet or feel unnoticed, what I feel still matters. everyone has a voice and mined deserve to be heard to.

" WE ACCEPT THE LOVE WE THINK WE DESERVE"

  • This quote really hit me very deeply. It made me realise that alot of times we settle for less because we don't see our worth in our self's . Charlie struggled with this to but as he began to heal, he saw that he deserved better. It motivated me to value myself more and to build healthier relationships based on respect not just fear of being.
Who was my favourite character and why?
  • My favourite character in The perk of being a wallflower was charlie because i deeply connected with his quiet nature and emotional depth. He represented so many teens who feel invisible, over think everything or carry pain they can't explain.Despise his struggle, charlie is kind, thoughtful and always tries to understand the people around him. Watching him slowly open up and find and keep his voice gave me hope that it's okay to grow at your own pace and take time. His journey reminded me that being sensitive is not a weakens it's a strength that can lead to real connection and personal healing which takes time and real purpose.
Mention Two Movies That Inspired me and why
  • Last years i have watched a lot of movies in a lot of genre from which i have a lot and enjoyed watching them with from which the movies the inspired me the most are below below .

The Pursuit Of Happyiness

source

  • This movie inspired me by showing the strength to keep going even when life feel impossible. Watching Chris Garden struggle with homelessness while caring fro his soon reminded me that determination, patience and belief in yourself can lead you to success in the future. Its taught me that failure in temporary bur giving up and surrendering make it permanent.

Dead Poets Society

source

  • This film inspired me to think freely and express myself without fear or judgement. The teacher,Mr Keating encouraged his students to capture the day and follow their passion instead of blinding obeying the rule. It made me reflect on how important it is to live authentically and make choices that align with who truly I am and who i want to be.

ATlast i would i like my my dear and amazing friend @muhammad-ahmad ,@abdullah-khan and @suboohi to come and participate in this great and wonderful challenge.

WELL REGARDS
