On this bonus music post it’s full on Seventies Sunday! We’ll (Me & my girlfriend Ashlee) be picking tunes from one artist! The great and legendary David Bowie! We’ll pick a song from one album on the 4 album run from 1971-1974. Two songs each.
Ashlee picks 1971’s Hunky Dory album and picks the song Life On Mars for DailyJam. Gene will cover the two albums in between & Ashlee jumps to 1974’s Diamond Dogs for BonusJam, picking the song Rebel Rebel.
Gene picks the song Ziggy Stardust for DailyJam! From the album “ The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars” released in 1972. Next up it’s the 1973 album “ Aladdin Sane” album and I picked the lesser known song Cracked Actor as my BonusJam! I just realized there was actually another album he put out in 1974 (PinUps) so he did 6 albums in 5 years not to mention if u go into late seventies he did 11 records from 1969-1979. Quite amazing!
