Right Here Waiting — 30th Anniversary of Repeat Offender

"Right Here Waiting" is a ballad by Richard Marx, released on June 29, 1989, as the second single from his second album, Repeat Offender. Marx wrote the song while on tour, as a love letter to his wife, actress Cynthia Rhodes, who was in South Africa filming a movie. The song became a global hit, reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and topping charts in several other countries.

In 2019, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Repeat Offender, Marx released a new video for "Right Here Waiting" featuring live performance footage.
