I like their old stuff. Not to sound like a stubborn old man or anything lol I just think their new stuff doesn’t sound good.

Ha, we can be stubborn old people together. Totally hear you. Some artists shpuld just quit when they are ahead. Saying that sometimes it's just us.. music happens in emotional times in our life and the music takes on more potency and poignancy.
