I live in the south of Thailand and remember this event vividly. The difference of coverage between thai and international media was appalling. In fact, foreign press agents were not allowed in the courtroom and were given prepared statements to read.

It was a blatant cover up and ignore/deflect until enough time had passed that people stopped asking questions. I feel really bad for the victims and for the Burmese scapegoats. This wasn't the first time and unfortunately hasn't been the last time that a horrific incident like this have occurred.

I know that the families of these victims are refusing to give up their quest for closure. It does seem like an uphill battle. Thanks for sharing this video and their message.
