Air Supply is an Soft Rock band from Australia, this band was formed by Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock in 1975, the band's early formation came after they met during the musical performance of Jesus Christ Super Star in Sydney.
Graham Russel (Graham Cyril Russell) was born in Sherwood, Nottigham, England, on June 11, 1950, and Russell Hitchcock (Russell Charles Hitchcock) was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on June 15, 1949. Both believe that Water Supply will be successful even if only members of duo personnel only.
In 1978, Air Supply began looking for new members so that new personnel were acquired including: Frank Ester Smith as aransement & keyboard, David Moyse & Rex goh as guitarist, David green as bass, Ralph Cooper as a drummer
Rod Steward was very impressed with Air Supply's appearance when he was asked to be the opening band, during Rod Steward's Australian tour, so Air Supply was again requested by Rod Steward as the opening band during his American and Canadian tour of 1977.
