The Sound of my Lapsteel Guitar, just a little example from one of my shows

The Lapsteel guitar is not normal looking, as most people are very confused on how these guitars are used. Its not the standard conventional way of playing standing up but strange as the guitar is played on your lap and you then slide a metal bar across the strings to play the notes.
This would have to be on of my favourite guitars to play, it is an acoustic guitar but i have beefed it up with some good pickups and a nice distorted amp to give that electric guitar sound. I play a lot of slide guitar, and playing slide on a lap steel guitar gives a total different approach to what you play.

This guitar was built from one of Australias best luthiers David Churchill, the guitar was designed by Jeff Lang (Amazing Australian Guitarist) and David Churchill himself.
