I am very interested in your story, because I am very sad to see the Palestinians here. Almost every day there is news of Israeli atrocities against the Palestinian people. May there be peace there.

Because Israel was created by the British Empire at that time, without involving anyone of the Palestinians in the talks. Think of it like this, an outsider you have never met suddenly barges in your home and lives inside of it, because they have the support of someone more powerful than you.
