Balboa Park - Show Us Your California

This post is an entry into the weekly Show Us Your California contest hosted by @socalsteemit where we share an aspect of our California.

My family I recently had the opportunity to spend some time at Balboa Park in San Diego. Balboa Park is a sprawling series of gardens and museums just outside downtown San Diego. The weather there is virtually perfect all year, and allows for all sorts of plants and flowers to thrive, in addition to some greenhouses as well. There is also some entertainment venues, including an outdoor concert organ and banquet hall.

We had an amazing time there, and barely scratched the surface on things to explore. We did go to one kids museum, but there were at least 6 others if you had lots of time.
