As promised, here I am to answer your question.
I was on my mobile yesterday, so it was a bit difficult to post a complete answer :)
I have been using busy.org in the near past and it is a really easy to use platform, user friendly, usually upvotes posts made via the platform and I have had a nice experience.
I have heard great feedback for apps such as steemplus and steempeak but have not yet used them.
For users writing STEM content, steemstem.io by @stemstem is also a platform with a lot of functionalities (still being under development)
I have also heard great feedback about the @partiko (mobile steem app) which also rewards its users with upvotes and points, but till now not used it (I am still wait for them to implement one of my suggestions before I use the app :))

Yes, the suggestion was simply for making the signature smaller so that it does not seem as part of the message.
