Beach Rose, Rosa rugosa, is an introduced plant to New England from Asia. Arriving in 1854 and became naturalized after 1900.johnny-automatic-daisy-border.png

It is a tough plant that can withstand the coastal salt spray. It's large pink flowers are sweetly scented.
