well it may never happen here but as part of a stuff hitting the fan preparedness plan it sure would be nice to be independent in that way.
Yes, that is why I Must have well water, run on solar power! Then I save money every day on water bills, and if the SHTF, I still have water....

If you drill it yourself it will be $300 to $500 so it will pay out in less than 2 years.
Plus the benefit of SHTF safety!
