Assalamu Alaikum,
I am coming to the village to plant rice in agriculture. Today too there is a lot of work pressure in the agricultural land. This morning I have to go to the market to sell nuts. My diary blog today will be very busy. Let's get started.
We had packed the almonds in the afternoon the day before and had to take them to the market very early in the morning. The almond market starts selling from 6 am and we have to reach the market by 6 am with the almonds. We sent 22 bags (50 kg each) of almonds in 2 vans at 5 am. We will go on the bike in another 30 minutes. Even though it is the rainy season now, the weather outside today feels like winter. It seems so from the fog on the road in the morning. We went out on the bike and I reached the almond market while enjoying the morning.
By that time, many almond vans were coming to the market. The almond market was crowded with people. There were several long lines at the almond market. Here, almond sellers unloaded a sack of almonds from their vans and kept their mouths open. Buyers checked the almonds and bought them by bargaining.
The almond buyers are setting up their tarpaulins to buy almonds but have not yet started buying almonds. There is a digital scale attached to the tarpaulins so that each sack is weighed. I left my brothers near our almond van and went around the almond market. By then, our almonds were sold out.
The trading in this market ends early in the morning. The buyers are buying the nuts in a short time. There are many buyers of nuts and all of them buy the nuts from the seller and send them to the tripal. We finished selling the nuts and received the money. We had breakfast in a restaurant in the market. Here, food is prepared from dawn in the food hotel for the nut sellers and related workers, starting from rice to light snacks. All kinds of food are available.
Second task of the day
The work of selling and trading nuts is over, now we have to return home, we have a lot of work at home today. We are returning home and going to the field with the diesel engine to collect water. We did not check the engine at home, it has not been used for a long time, so we started it and checked it.
We are setting up the machine and pumping water. Our land receives water from the sky during the rainy season, but this time there is no rain from the sky, so we have to plant rice with artificial irrigation. After the machine ran for 20 minutes, the bearing of the water pump broke and stopped.
Our work will be stopped for some time until the water pump is fixed. I called the mechanic and asked him to come. The mechanic is my friend and he is coming soon. Meanwhile, my brother has gone to get the bearings and grease. The bearings in the water pump were broken due to lack of mobile and not being used for a long time. We fixed it within 1.30 minutes and started pumping water again.
I was alone at noon, there was a lot of sun, I brought an umbrella with me and a bottle of water from the fridge. I was watering the land, the tractor would arrive soon to cultivate the land.
The tractor is actually showing me the land to cultivate. The land cultivation starts from noon and it will be night before we finish cultivating our 12 bighas of land. I am returning home in the afternoon with the water pump engine, my father was there to show the tractor the land. I am returning home with the engine and the rest of the things. Today has been a very busy day but a lot of progress has been made in the work. We are trying to finish our paddy planting work quickly. Today, my ears are very tired, I am at the end of the hard work of the whole day.
