Hello besties, how are you doing? It's @gracewealth01 one of the newcomers on the platform. I'm super excited to share my diary with you all here, I think this should be my third or fourth post here if I'm not mistaken. I quickly want to share a little story about my harvest today in my farm which is in alignment with Agriculture. I've longed for so long to keep up the momentum with you all and here's a rate opportunity and I can't let it slide, welcome to my blog once again.

My mom had always told me that the best time to harvest something from the farm is either in the morning when the sun isn't out yet or in the evening when the sun is gone and today, I took advantage of that advice and went to the farm with my friend this morning. I went in the morning because I had hope of a bountiful harvest and wanted to serve it to my friend as breakfast since he was craving for something from my farm. He had assisted me during the planting season so it's all right to want to have a taste of his work.

We were specifically out to harvest yam, I showed my friend the yams are planted and asked him to dig them up. He assisted in digging them out and the two spots he digged produced more than enough harvest for breakfast, seeing that I had enough I asked him to discontinue digging and I gathered the ones he had dugged took a picture and we went back to the house. On getting home, we argued in what to prepare with it, my friend wanted porridge yam but I wanted yam and pepper soup. Since no one wanted to give in for the other, we settled for beans and yam.

I got into work, I stepped out to buy three cups of beans and returned home. I selected the chaffs out and cooked the beans till it was tender. While the beans was being cooked, I peeled some portions of the yam and boiled it separately when the beans was tender. I added seasonings to the beans, oil and a little water after I had washed it. It didn't take longer to give me the result I wanted and I dished the meal and served.

I took my bath before joining my friend to have our meal, it was more tastier than I expected. I enjoyed it a great deal and even ate extra, I went to bed when I was done eating to relax and that's all for my diary today. Thanks besties for reading, hope to see you on my next post.

That's wonderful harvesting. Today we also brought a big haul from the farm. My baskets filled up fast. Each item went from the soil right to our plates. This harvest felt so good. It was worth all the time spent growing things.

Hola
