Maryam Tea Garden is located in a village in Chirirbandar upazila of Dinajpur district. This garden can be seen on the west side of Ranirbandar Road, 10 kilometers north of Ghughura Toli Bazar. To get here, first you have to take a bus to Ghughura Toli in Chirirbandar, Dinajpur district, and then you have to take an auto to the tea garden for 20 taka or 2 steem.

The entrance is along the main road. There is an iron gate here. It is a very old gate. However, this gate is always open. The voting trucks can enter here easily, but most of the time this door is only for the entry of people. So that cattle cannot enter in any way. Also, through this gate, Jaugati has been identified as an important place.

The first sapling was planted in the Maryam Tea Garden on 07/07/2020. The land area is 11 bighas. Out of this, 8.30 bighas are under cultivation. BT2/BT26 variety saplings have been planted. Each sapling is 3'', 2". The total land area is 19.30 bighas. The land is registered by the Bangladesh Tea Board with registration number 1499. The sign board was next to the gate and then there is a sitting area for chatting. Where 3 people can sit and chat.

Leaves are collected from this garden every month. Within a month, the young leaves of the plant turn into old leaves and then the leaves are collected with the help of a machine and allowed to dry. After collecting the old leaves of the plant, the young leaves look very beautiful. Then water is sprayed on the leaves so that the young leaves can grow more healthily.

Many big trees have been planted inside this tea garden. These trees are basically working as companion crops. We all know that tea is a cool season crop. It is mainly grown in areas with tea trees, due to which many trees have been planted inside this tea garden. So that the leaves of the tea trees can be properly shaded. When the collection of the leaves of the tea garden is over, these trees are usually cut down, which gives the gardener an extra income.

There is a large road through the tea garden. This road is mainly made of clay. However, you can easily travel by bike and bicycle through this road and see the entire garden. Here you can always see a worker who cuts the grass. Also, he usually helps the garden owner to spray this garden. The tea garden always has to spray the tea leaves. This worker has to spray for spiders. This worker is mainly there for those.

There is a water system here for irrigating the tea garden. Water is irrigated here with the help of machines. Apart from this, a tube well is kept here for drinking water. Adequate arrangements have been made so that people can come here to visit and drink water. Installing this tube well is beneficial for both people and animals.
