Just, Follow The Flow...

Hello Beautiful POOKIES 😍, Trust y'all are doing great today? And hope y'all didn't miss me too much. As usual, how complete can the week be without a day off to experience the wonders of Nature. Once again it's your girl @mercigold here on @steemit and here's how I went about my day today.

Weekends are usually rest days or time for extra-curriculum activities so I decided to go hiking with the team and also with the company of my friend. First we got the muster point as early as 6:30am. It's expected of everyone to meet here and get Onboarded into a coaster bus. Here at the muster point is one of the best times to take pictures of oneself because the aftermath of our physical appearance after a hectic hike isn't advisable for a good picture shot.

Did I forget to put you through my prepping process for today's hike. Making outfit decision the previous night wasn't challenging because I knew exactly what I would love to wear and whatever I put on must be as comfortable as possible. Most importantly I can't forget applying a sunscreen and carrying it everywhere I go because at this point this is one major thing I need for this Hike journey after a bottle of Water.

Who else can spot the Sculptural piece we're standing next to?. This piece illustrates an advance man in a festive mood who's drumming a native drum with all enthusiasm. I could barely get my eyes off this piece, so I opted for more pictures with it. Although I would have captured the front view or take a pics in front of it but there were crowd of persons in front of it already. It's better to have a pics next to it than never for posterity sake.

We arrived our destination where we set out on the trail. While we walked through the community leading to the trail, I had company of some hike team members who came around, exchange pleasantries and promised to do every climbing, griping, slipping, moments and falls with us.

It's has being a culture that on every hike experience observed, a headcount must be taken before and after being Onboarded. Also, every member is expected to turn up in the group picture taken irrespective of what anyone is doing at that point. I know you might be wondering what's we are doing with a big chilling flask. It's can also be called a "cooler". Yes as the name implies, it a chiller used to preserve beverages like tigernut drink, pineapple juice, watermelon juice and aswell water. Every member of the team gets a bottle of this as a re-filler and Energizer most especially when they're dehydrated.

There are specialties who were delegated this role to see to the welfare of every member on the trail. This unit were simultaneously assisted by the first Aiders who were aswell active on the trail.

After walking miles and Km, climbing trees and breaking unceasing branches with sharp tons on them, we finally got to a stream. This stream wasn't as wide as I imagine neither was it as chill as I expected. This might be as a result of it being used earlier by the villagers before our arrival. Nevertheless we tried as much as possible to make the best moments from it. We swam from one end of it to the other,went down the dept of the water and had algae stick to our skins while we swam out.

I personally did not forget to do what I know how to do best whenever I swim. Water-splash had being an amazing practice for me. I swam, splashed water on everyone around me like a dolphin. Trust me they all admired the fun I eventually put up with it and as a result of this they partook in the fun of also splashing water on each other. We did this repeatedly for as long as we could until we got exhausted and prepared to go home.

Just within few hours of the Day, I had so much fun than expected. It was indeed a time worth while with the team, friends and everyone who made this moment worth it. I meditated for some minutes inside the stream with my head faced upward. At this point I just had no choice than to allow the flow....

It's being a long day already, everyone longed to go home especially me,so why not! We all headed back to bus, took a sit at various positions just the same way we came. We got back to the muster point and this time everyone got dismissed. Thank you so much guys for engaging. See you in my next Post.
