I keep some ornamental plants in my house. Caring for plants has become an enjoyable and relaxing habit, particularly when you see their leaves thrive. The plants generally get watered in the morning and during the evening, weather permitting. When it’s hot, I water them a little more to keep the soil moist. But in the rainy season, I cut back on watering because the plants receive lots of water from the rain.

As for the kind of water you water with, I believe rain water is the best. Rainwater is chemical free and chlorine free unlike tap water. Rainwater is high in nitrogen which is available directly to plant roots and contributes to healthy leaves and stems. Rainwater is also slightly to moderately acidic, with a moderate-to-neutral pH, which is quite perfect for most plants.

Of course, you can still use household water, particularly if rainwater is in short supply. They should first run the water for a few hours to ensure the chlorine has evaporated before it is used for drinking. In the meantime, special water for plants is really (as long as it’s not for very sensitive types of plants or in extremely dry environments) not too necessary! It's more affordable and less harmful to the environment to use water that is naturally available.

Water is extremely important to plants. Plants in return receives energy converted from sunlight by a photosynthesis process where water being converted into oxygen and carbohydrates. Water also transports nutrients in the soil to the entire plant. Without ample water, plants will experience drooping, slowed growth and death.

Rainwater is an essential part of the natural cycle. It holds soil moisture in proper balance in different ecosystems and helps sustain plant growth. By growing with rainwater, plants typically grow stronger and healthier than those which are strictly watered from the tap.

So, yes, plants like rainwater very much. You never realise water is more than just something to drink, but something that carries natural elements that are essential for soil and plants to grow healthy. Harvesting and reusing rain water is also a baby step towards managing the environment.

Hello friend @zulbahri, excellent post, water is vital for plants and if it rains it is much better, notice when it rains the plants become beautiful and grow faster, water is necessary for the life of plants.

Now, when it's dry you have to water constantly and use the hose so that enough water reaches its roots.

Greetings.
