A trail run that overhead looks like nature
This is one of the kind of amazing things about Chiang Mai. Somehow, they have managed to not destroy all of the nature when they put so many houses in and developed so much for the over 1 million people that live here.
When we were out on this run in the past week it didn't seem lik a buys part of the city at all but now that I am seeing it from the satellite it looks very urban.

The Hares tricked us a little bit here because we started near the north side of this picture and that is where normally someone who was setting trail would have us head further north into those trees. But because they were trying to be trickester, they did something that we don't normally do and that is to head south to run around the houses and neighborhoods.
This wasn't that bad though, from the overhead view it looks like we would be ducking in and out of people's gardens but that is not what went down at all.

We ended up frequently on paths like this one, which aren't so bad but since there wasn't a lot of shade that was kind of painful. It only lasted for about an hour and there was plenty of shade and ice cold beer at the end of it all anyway, so suck it up, buttercup.

We were promised a water feature on this run and we got one. Technically the hare was not lying. lol
All in all a bad day of Hashing is still better than a good day of doing almost anything else and a good time was had by all. This was a short one, but the party continued after the meetup for anyone that wanted it to, the same as it always does.
We continue to do at least 3 runs a week here in Chiang Mai and all are welcome to come and join us any time they want. The full schedule can be found HERE
