There have been many studies on ladybugs Scientists say they can fly They spread their tiny wings and fly from one tree to another but they usually prefer to stay on the leaves It is truly amazing how many diverse features can be hidden inside their small bodies In todays pictures the ladybug I captured was sitting on a green leaf Its bright reddish body and black spots colored the entire scene That red dot was so noticeable among the greenery around it that it seemed as if nature itself had stepped into the role of a painter
