The Determined Nerd owned a pencil sharpener that they would occasionally try to balance on their head. It should have been an astonishing action, to my children, but not to the Nerd, who considered that the idea was awe-inspring. You wouldnt have thought, a pencil sharpener is the item to choose.

The Determined Nerd had a bat that they would sometimes insert somewhere. It might have been a weird and wonderful proposal, to my grandpa, but not to the Nerd, who considered that this idea is breathtaking. You wouldnt have thought, a bat is the thing to opt for.

The Determined Nerd needed a CD player that they would often sit and look at. One might find this to be a strange activity, to you, but not to the Nerd, who feels that the idea was the most awesome idea. A CD player would be the item that was selected.
