Desert City Magdeburg (english)

Hi Guys,
Today we have been walking in Magdeburg down at the Elbe and we were very surprised that there is actually very little water in Germany's third largest river. Indeed, we were aware that the green areas look extremely dry, but that Elbe has been shrunken in that way was not clear to us.

You can partially go to the middle of the river and almost to the other riverside. If this goes on, then the Elbe will be dry by the end of summer. Incidentally, this is the worst drought in over 60 years. We'll keep you up to date on what's going on.
