School days 🤣

Okay so… I was in JSS2 then. I was this stubborn student, kind of bad, but teachers didn’t know.
That day, we finished our exam and my classmates said we should go and celebrate in the hostel. We all knew day students weren’t allowed in the hostel, but we all went anyway.

So, as a good and bad student, while my classmates were jubilating and dancing, I stood by the window side because I could see the staffroom directly. I was holding my shoes, looking straight through the window, and shaking my body. My classmates were even saying...Mariam, come now! but they didn’t know I had another plan.

That’s how I saw one of our teachers coming straight to the hostel. I left the room quietly, without making them notice, and ran away 😂. That’s how all of them were caught and told to come downstairs. My classmates were shouting, “Mariam was here, where is she?” but my teacher believed I couldn’t have been there, so he told them, “I didn’t see her, so she’s not here.”

He really punished them, trust me. They had the worst punishment, not even beating, but still the worst punishment. And me? I escaped, because I was wise 😂.
