Buenas Tardes, a todos los de esta plataforma, para mi es muy grato estar aquí con ustedes, y hacer una pequeña biografia para que conozcan un poco de mi vida y porque me estoy iniciendo en ella.

Good afternoon, everyone on this platform. It is a great pleasure for me to be here with you and to write a short biography so that you can learn a little about my life and why I am starting out on this journey.

¿Quien Soy?/Who am I?

Mi nombre es Sebastián Andrés Sales Rodriguez, tengo 16 años de edad, naci en Mérida Venezuela, una de las ciudades mas bonitas del país, no solo por sus paisajes, si no tambien porque habita la gente mas cordial, somos personas cariñosas y amables con todos aquellos que nos visita, tratamos a todas las personas como si formara parte de nuestra familia. Actualmente vivo, en Ejido como a 20 minutos de la ciudad de Mérida, con mis padres y mi abuelita Materna, tengo cuatros hermanos mayores que yo, tengo de mascota a una perrita llamada Alaska, bueno realmente me la dieron en adopción mis tios que se fueron a vivir a Chile.

My name is Sebastián Andrés Sales Rodriguez, I am 16 years old, I was born in Mérida, Venezuela, one of the most beautiful cities in the country, not only because of its landscapes, but also because it is home to the friendliest people. We are affectionate and kind to all who visit us, treating everyone as if they were part of our family. I currently live in Ejido, about 20 minutes from the city of Mérida, with my parents and my maternal grandmother. I have four older siblings and a pet dog named Alaska, who was actually given to me for adoption by my uncles who moved to Chile.

¿Que estoy Estudiando?/ What am I studying?

Estudio quinto año en un Colegio cerca de mi casa, como aproximadamente 15 minutos caminando, estoy en mi ultima etapa de bachillerato, estoy en el momento de ir pensando que carrera voy a estudiar. Está es una decisión dificil porque siento que estoy perdido y aun no se que elegir y no solo eso es buscar una carrera que sea competitiva tanto en Venezuela como fuera de ella, pero sobre todo que te guste para no frustarte a mitad de carrera, gracias a Dios estoy en un estado muy privilegiado porque tenemos una de las mejores casas de estudio del país y demanda un gran número de opciones.

I am in my fifth year at a school near my house, about a 15-minute walk away. I am in my final year of high school, and I am at the point where I need to start thinking about what I want to study. This is a difficult decision because I feel lost and still don't know what to choose. Not only that, but I need to find a career that is competitive both in Venezuela and abroad, and above all, one that I like so that I don't get frustrated halfway through. Thank God I am in a very privileged position because we have one of the best schools in the country and there are many options available.

¿Que Quiero llegar a ser?/What do I want to become?

Quiero ser un grande basquebolista, aunque se que el tamaño no me ayuda, pero siempre pongo de mi parte para ser grande, de lograr la diferencia entre los demás.

I want to be a great basketball player, even though I know my height doesn't help, but I always do my best to be great, to make a difference among the others.

¿Que Quiero Estudiar?/What do I want to study?

En estos momentos si me tocara hacer la elección, escogería la Ingenieria de Sistemas, porque me llama la atención las computadoras, los sistemas, las aplicaciones, de crear programas, me parece que es una carrera muy futurista con esto de la inteligencia artificial y de muchos factores donde se ve involucrado la tecnología.

Right now, if I had to make the choice, I would choose Systems Engineering, because I am interested in computers, systems, applications, and creating programs. I think it is a very futuristic career with artificial intelligence and many factors involving technology.

¿Que me Gusta?/What do I like?

Desde los 9 años, inice practicas de Baloncesto en una escuela menor de ejido, cuando la Pandemia incentivado por mi prima que vive en Chile, puedo decir que es mi hermana porque me crie con ella, pero por razones de la crisis de Venezuela le toco emigrar, desde ese momento que práctico este deporte, siento que cada día me gusta más, he aprendido mucho no solo en constancia y en disciplina, sino a pensar porque es un deporte muy estrategico donde debes pensar con tus cinco sentidos para alcanzar el éxito.

I started playing basketball at the age of 9 at a local school, when the pandemic hit. Encouraged by my cousin who lives in Chile, I can say that she is like a sister to me because I grew up with her, but due to the crisis in Venezuela, she had to emigrate. Since I started playing this sport, I feel that I like it more and more every day. I have learned a lot, not only in perseverance and discipline, but also in thinking, because it is a very strategic sport where you have to think with all five senses to achieve success.

¿Como conocí a esta Plataforma?/ How did I find out about this platform?

Esta plataforma la conocí por mis padres @exqueila y @josegregori, que llevan varios años incursionando en este mundo, y mis Padres pues siempre me han brindado el apoyo para estar aquí, y es algo que me parece divertido en que tu puedas describir tus historias, las situaciones que vives a diario y poder mostrarlas y además de eso ser recompensado, creo que es algo de no pensarlo mucho solo de ejecutarlo y por eso estoy aquí ante todos ustedes escribiendo mi primer post.

I learned about this platform from my parents, @exqueila and @josegregori, who have been involved in this world for several years, and my parents have always supported me in being here. and I think it's fun that you can describe your stories, the situations you experience every day, and be able to show them and be rewarded for it. I think it's something you shouldn't think too much about, just do it, and that's why I'm here in front of all of you writing my first post.

¿Que me gustaria Publicar en Steemit?/What would I like to publish on Steemit?

Steemit es una plataforma, muy variada con sitios dirigidos a la familia, de cocina, aventuras, viajes, de ciencia, fotografías, pienso que sería ir al tema que me resulte más comodo, porque esta la comparación con la elección de la carrera, en este caso sería lo mismo porque si escoges una carrera que a ti no te guste pues obviamente nunca te vas a sentir bien, así mismo pasaria con Steemit es estar en la comunidad que mas te identifique.

Steemit is a very diverse platform with sites aimed at families, cooking, adventures, travel, science, photography, etc. I think it would be best to go with the topic that I feel most comfortable with, because it's similar to choosing a career. In this case, it would be the same because if you choose a career that you don't like, you're obviously never going to feel good about it. The same would happen with Steemit you should be in the community that you identify with the most.

¿Hasta donde pienso llegar en Steemit?/How far do I plan to go in Steemit?

Quiero llegar a donde Dios me inspire, pero siempre siguiendo los caminos regulares, porque busco es aprender y interactuar con las personas que estan siempre presentes en esta plataforma, y hacer post que gusten a todos o a la mayoría.

I want to go where God inspires me, but always following the usual paths, because I seek to learn and interact with the people who are always present on this platform, and to make posts that everyone or most people will like.

¿Que espero de Steemit?/What do I expect from Steemit?

Espero aprendizaje y crecimiento, porque a pesar de que mis padres me han orientado en el proceso, de que debo hacer, de escribir cosas con originalidad, ser yo mismo, no buscar temas rebuscados, está en mi llegar mas lejos y que Steemit me brinde el apoyo y crecimiento en esta nueva etapa de mi vida.

I hope for learning and growth, because even though my parents have guided me in the process, what I should do, to write things with originality, to be myself, not to look for far-fetched topics, it is up to me to go further and for Steemit to give me the support and growth in this new stage of my life.
