A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS;FINISHING 7CUPS OF GARRI

Though the weather was hot , the shop boring cause there was nothing else I could do after finishing the work me and my boss did....

So I had to find something to get busy, am not the type to lay around lazy. And when I thought the day couldn't be better,behold my neighbor came rushing into the shop asking for the electric kettle that he had to boil water to make garri....

...when I turn my face I saw some group of guys asking if he had done it "mêh nâm(yeah I have done it)"I overheard my neighbor telling one of the guys in the group why'd he take up a bet of finishing 7cups of garri, telling my neighbor he had to do it, then he said"they were doubting me nah" I gasped,then I ask how much did u guys bet,he said"they betted 3k, if I finish the garri I'll take the money" saying with confidence,"what if u don't finish it " I asked."nah me go pay them the money" he said. "Wow so u can finish 7 cups of garri Omorhh you try, OGA " I said smiling and cheering him up.

....as soon as it was the water boiled and the garri was ready to be add swallowable,the table was set and ready to go. He was served a plate of melon[egusi(Igbo)or iKon(Ibibio)]soup and a full custard bucket of garri which was partition into two parts.first part on the plate and the other one still in the bucket. Ready to dig in, he composed him self and started eating though I thought he would eat as other people do when in a competition, but no he calmly sat down and ate. But his garri balls was hugggeee!!! Cause I know in my heart that's not his normal garri balls,yet he managed to sustain the soup he was given with that huge garri.

After some mins past by, the soup finished and the first part of the garri partly dominated,so he rested while my neighbor had to get him another plate of the same soup,then he continued his journey.... Destroying the first part of the garri he went for the second as it was it's turn to play,and the battled.....

Few mins later he couldn't finish the garri "âng kâ(am tired)"he said letting go of the garri ball he had as he stood up,going outside as his friends cheered him for actually finishing 6cups of garri,after all he ate his stomach does seems as if he had eaten that much....So we helped him finish the remaining garri left(1 cup).
Wow,someone really did eat almost the whole bucket of garri,first time actually seeing it real life😁😁😁😁. So since the guy didn't finish the garri I bet he would pay the money he lost, but the event really brighten my day from being boring omorrrr.....
