Achievement-1: Introduction To steemit

A wonderful day to you all. Hope you are having a blissful and stress free day. I'm a newcomer on this platform by name Inimfon Nathaniel Effiong and my steemit username is @nhiemfon001. It's a great pleasure to be introduced to this platform and I believe that we'll all learn and benefit from each other. I'm a native of Ituk Mbang in Uruan LGA, Akwa Ibom State. I'm a fair, tall and slender girl, turning 19 next month. I'm a student of the University of Uyo, currently pursuing a four year degree program in the department of Guidance and Counselling under the Faculty of Education. I'm the first daughter and child in the family of four, a devoted Christian and hair stylist. Permit me to add this, I'm the pride of my parents and also the apple of God's eyes.

I attended Royal Pearls Schools (now Redemption Academy) from Kindergarten to Basic 3 and got my First School Leaving Certificate from Reality Schools, Mbiaobong Etoi all in Akwa Ibom state. At age 12, I began secondary school at Nigerian Christian Institute, located at IBB Avenue, Uyo where I lived in the hostel from Junior Secondary to Senior Secondary. I didn't buy the idea of living in the school at first but my parents, especially my mom insisted, stating that living away from home will help me become independent and take care of my properties. Believe me when I say this was where I had the best memories of my Life and it actually inculcated the values and discipline I needed for life's journey and I'm grateful to my mom for insisting I stay at the hostel though at first, I didn't know the values but I later saw the need to.

Everyone has things they love to do at their leisure time so do I. I have always been an hair lover right from time and that motivated me to learn the skill of hair styling (Dreadlocks specifically). I love to make dreadlocks extension at my leisure time. I love surfing the net in order to learn new ways to improve my skills. I'm a book lover as well. I love to read inspirational novels both online and offline. I love listening to music. My favorite genre of music is romance. As a really outgoing and loveable person, I love to talk to people (gisting you may call it). There's never a dull moment when spending time with people. I'm also a movies lover. I love to see movies especially horror movies. I'll love to add that I love spending time with children. I love to play with them and make them happy. Even as an extrovert, I love my personal space, that's where I get to have a me time and resonate on my life's journey and ways to improve myself.

My friend, @gracewealth01 has always been on her phone more often and taking pictures of all the activities of the day. She just takes pictures randomly and I got curious and asked about what she does with the pictures that was when she told me about this platform. But then, she added she won't introduce me yet till she's fully aware of all the details about the platform and just yesterday, she messaged me and asked if I was still interested in it and of cos, I've been eagerly waiting for the moment. She sent me some messages to me and asked we meet in school today but unfortunately, she couldn't make it to school today and asked me to sign with the hints she dropped for me. Finally, I'm here and I'm so happy for it.

As a student and an hair stylist, expect more of my academic blogs and my work. I'll also be sharing books and movies that I find educative and recommendable. I'll also talk about my daily activities and my life's journey as a whole, most times I'll rant alot to you guys about my school because they're the only ones giving me headache at the moment and most times it gets so overwhelming.
