Who introduced you? So this is your second post?
It works here the same as on other social media. Yes, you read it right. SOCIAL meaning socialising is important.
If you don't read, comment, or upvote others you will not find anyone to talk to, to give you a hand or to give you an upvote.
It's also not recommended to upvote yourself. Is there a reason you did that? Your vote is worth 0 (zero) and you miss the opportunity to show your name in someone s notifications because you took the effort to read, comment and vote.
Now I wonder I should give you an upvote since growing together should be the idea and not growing alone. What do you think/say?
