About me

Hi, I am Ubong Inyang (you can call me "UB" for convenience). I am a Nigerian, I hail from Akwa Ibom State. I am a naturally optimistic soul with a deep sense of passion for anything creative and innovative. I am a Christian by faith and I believe in brighter days. I am a go-getter: I work hard and smart and I believe in the rewards of diligence and the values I uphold. You may not catch me smiling from a thousand miles but I'm totally a cool guy to vibe with.

I'm a huge listening ear you could borrow, and I value meaningful relationships. I'm a Mechanical Engineering student in the University of Uyo, Nigeria. Why Mechanical Engineering? Well, I'm always curious about the Engineering world, and Mechanical Engineering conveys the perfect blend of art and technical knowledge. I know I have a place here.

In this course, I've engaged several extracurricular trainings and projects, and I've acquired numerous skills (on/off line) to see to my success in this.

Hobbies

I am a talented artist, my customized golden spoon is drawing. I paint and bleach as well, and I'm constantly interested in anything that adds value to my talent and personality. I'm a two time silver medalist in the Uyo national museum art competitions (specifically drawing) in the 2018 and 2019 editions respectively. currently, I'm on an evolution phase to digital artistry. I vibe to cool musics a lot, I enjoy good movies, and I'm always on the lookout for the latest in football. I enjoy creative writings as well.

Likes and dislikes

I see winning as my culture, thus, I always strive for the best in whatever I do - I like winning. I like going on excursions too, I also like practicing new art techniques I haven't attempted before.

I like staying positive, fair, real, and simple.
I dislike failure and disappointments even if it's inevitable on the path to success. So I learn from my mistakes, work hard, and keep standing tall.
I dislike negative vibes too.

How did I know about Steemit?

So there's this friend of mine who's been so glued to his screen lately, @calculuseyo1 and others like @promisezella and @samuelbrilliant. It was a bit unusual and that got me curious, so I decided to ask him about it and here we are.
He explained everything to me. Being the person who's always out for opportunities, knowledge, and growth, the whole explanation definitely narrowed me right to this space.
