Achievement-1: Introducing Myself On Steemit

Hello everyone! My name is Utitofon Ekanem, and my Steemit username is @yhuteeekanem. This post is a brief introduction of who I am. I may unintentionally leave out some things about me but as time goes on I believe that that will change.

I am a 4 ft 11, olive skin lady with an extremely creative mind. Alongside school, I am a unisex fashion designer who deals specifically on bespoke wears for men and women. I am also a skilled voiceover artist. Utitofon hails from Ibiono Ibom LGA of Akwa Ibom state in Nigeria. I was born in Uyo and was raised in the United States for six years of my childhood; three to nine years old before returning to Nigeria. During the time I lived with my family of four, we all gained citizenship by naturalization and by that I am a dual citizen.

I went to about four schools while abroad because my family and I relocated twice. On returning to Nigeria, I was admitted into ALSCON Staff School, primary 5 in third term where I received my First School Leaving Certificate. I started secondary education in 2014 and finished in the year of the global pandemic, 2020. Currently, I am a 400-level Medical Laboratory Science student of the University of Uyo, Uyo. After the five year program, I will intern at a hospital for a year before I’ll decide on whether to work on the bench or explore research, diagnostics or even a postgraduate degree outside Nigeria.

I am the first child and daughter of my parents. I have 4 siblings; 1 sibling from my mother and 3 from my step mother. My birth mother is late, hence the reason why I have a step. In total, our parents have three girls and two boys. I thank God that though we are not from the same mother, the love and bond is strong.

I am an exceptional creative as I mentioned earlier. When I say I deal on only bespoke wears, I make outfits from sketch to finish. Designs birthed from my mind and inspiration from my surroundings, particular to every person I work with. I share my work and document my journey of becoming on, Yhutees Luxury, my business Instagram and Facebook page. In moments when I’m not sewing or busy with school work, I am watching a movie, reading a non-academic book or modeling. I am looking forward to playing a sport as well even if it just for the fun of it.

I got to know about Steemit on Facebook through @megareigns last week and I just knew I had to hop on it. I look forward to having a wonderful experience and network on this space, afterall, I’m here to stay.
