It's always heartbreaking to me that soldiers lose their lives in conflicts like this. Especially since the technology (helmets, vests, armor etc) exists and is so readily available. It's terrible that these soldiers aren't being provided with the equipment they NEED to safely do their jobs.
The previous administration were corrupt. There were funds allocated but this is the result.
That's truly terrible. Hopefully things are changing for the better.
Things are changing for the better under President Duterte. This war is presumedly by the CIA who started ISIS.
