News aggregates willingly stoking the fire with fake news now

Previously I thought they were just careless and incompetent but these days that news stories are so insidious that it honestly doesn't look possible that any of this is an accident. They basically have a few criteria for what names that they are looking for in an article then publish it as part of their daily news with zero regard to whether or not it is relevant as to what is going on today.

The story of the moment or the political hot seat right now is the LA Riots which to me are just something stupid that the various California politicians are just going to use to try to score media points for themselves. Just look at that old bag Maxine Waters trying to force herself (unsuccessfully) in a building after joining the protesters who are destroying the state that she lives in.

That woman is such a clown and I can't believe that she is sill getting elected.

Let's stay focused on the horrible reporting though. Nearly everything in my aggregate is about LA today, and the news services are using this opportunity to insert things that look like they could be related based on certain names, but they don't even bother to write new pieces of information..

Now I have not made it a secret at all about how I feel about Conservative Brief but they are just a very small part of the overall problem. The media isn't concerned with what is actually going on right now, they are concerned with manipulating how people feel about what is going on right now. The article above and below this one are about conservative responses to the LA Riots and that one in the middle attempts to give people the impression that Speaker Johnson is joining in the talks.

The article that it links to started out in a strange way because it referred to Vice President Harris who is now the Presidential Frontrunner. I was thinking to myself "isn't she wildly unpopular now and staying out of the public eye?" and "we already have a front-runner for 2028?"

IT turns out there is a tiny piece of information, hidden where most people aren't going to look that explains all of this away.

This information is from a year ago and has nothing to do with ICE or LA, or riots. But the inclusion here could have had many objectives. To somehow include anti-Israel sentiment into the conversation, or to somehow make it appear as though Speak of the House Johnson has some sort of say as to what is going on in LA. Neither of these things are true. I won't bother digging into whether or not what is stated in the article actually are true because it is old news and it is written by Conservative Brief, therefore it is just presumed to be trash.

Personally, I think the riots in LA are really stupid. These people are wrecking their own city and from the on the ground news footage that I have seen of the people that are participating in it, when they get spoken to by the press they don't seem to really fully understand why they are there and what they are protesting. They kind of just seem like mentally deficient people that want to get out and wreck stuff and since they live in California, the chances of them facing any sort of actual punishments for doing that is pretty slim.

The old media tricks that they pulled during the BLM crap that went down a few years back are in full action again as cars are "bursting into flames" not "being intentionally set on fire" and of course the protests are always "peaceful" in the eyes of the media, even though their own footage shows exactly the opposite.

What I want done in LA is irrelevant. I know this is all political theater and when the people who could shut it down decide not to for their own benefit, you have a situation that isn't going to get resolved. Until these participants are actually punished for doing this, there is no reason for them not to do it. I can't relate to someone that wants to wreck their own city over something I'm not actually informed about, but I guess that is the LA way. Of course stores are being looted as well because I guess that has something to do with immigration?

You are not going to get the truth about what is going on over there, but in the meantime it is kind of fun to listen to the broadcasts as the media, especially the local stations in LA seriously struggle to try to have a positive spin on things when the imagery they are showing doesn't really have a positive spin that can be spun.

That's bad enough sure, but when news providers are intentionally putting articles from a year ago into the mix to create some sort of mass hysteria because they know people don't read actual articles, that's either them messing with us, or them intentionally trying to manipulate public opinion. It's probably both things with a bit of incompetence mixed in as well.
