The Violent ICE Protests In California HURT Latinos!
The violent protests against Trump’s ICE raids in California are doing more harm than good for the Latino community. When anger turns into destruction, it overshadows the real issues and paints all Latinos with the same brush. We’re trying to show that we’re hardworking, responsible people—but violence drowns out that message. It gives fuel to those who already see us as a threat or a problem. Protesting and calling for reform is good, but there has to be a line—we can’t fight chaos with more chaos. If we truly care about our people, we need to be smart about how we speak out.

I believe the violence will turn people to vote for the other guys in those communities. The intended result of these protests is going to backfire and go the other way. Think about it: If you lived there and your area was getting wrecked because your leadership didn't do anything to stop them, wouldn't you feel inclined to get a different kind of leadership?
