[News] The death of a Russian schoolboy in Korea
Who follows the news in Korea, probably heard about the sensational scandal that occurred in the city of Inchon in Korea on November 13 last year.
On November 13, 2018, a boy of 14 years old fell from the roof of a 15-storey building. Whether he fell down himself or his classmates helped him, he tried to find out the Incheon court.
As it turned out, a little boy, whose mother is Russian, and his dad, a South Korean, was constantly subjected to verbal attacks by four of his classmates. And once this verbal skirmish developed into a cruel slaughter, which was fatal for a Russian child.
Classmates forcefully lured the child to the roof of a 15-storey building, brutally beaten for a long time.
The investigation showed that the boy, trying to escape, wanted to jump onto the ledge at the roof of the house, but could not resist and fell down.
Initially, 3 guys and 1 girl who brutally beat their classmate tried to present everything as suicide and that they wanted to help him at all. But, in the process of investigation, two of them confessed to the crime in full, for which they received 3 and 4 years in prison. And two others partially admitted their guilt, refusing to be involved in the death of the boy, received 6 and 7 years in prison.
The parents of the accused tried to negotiate with the mother of the deceased child, but the injured party refused. Therefore, the court was held and the decision was rendered.
Dozens of topics were created on social networks on this occasion. Of course, someone was in solidarity with the decision of the court, but there were also many who called for the harsher punishment of the “murderers of a 14-year-old adolescent”. Negative comments were not only from the Russian-speaking residents of Korea, but also from the local residents themselves.
Take care of your children, Let them grow up in a healthy environment. And I very much hope that this tragic incident with a poor 14-year-old boy was and will be the only one in our society.
May 20th, prosecutors filed an appeal ... The case continues
