Thanks for highlighting this problem. Surely there should be much tighter regulatory control of organisations like Oxfam. Corruption is rife in many of the countries they work in, so it is almost inevitable that our donations are syphoned off to build a palace for some potentate. The UN should do more to make sure the money is used for the right purpose.....otherwise, as you say, the flow of donations will dry up.
