David Crosby, of the group Crosby Stills and Nash, has been the target of a lot of ire due to his rude response to a fan's post on an image of the 80-year old musician on Twitter. DJB Sackett, who is 54 years old volunteer located in Sheffield, U.K., has begun creating art for the first time in over 30 years following the furlough from work during the pandemic . On the 16th of July the artist posted an illustration of Crosby as a person, wearing an knitted hat of red (a important part of his outfit that was knit with his partner) on Twitter. "Hope you're doing good health. I took a picture of you. Thanks for the song.
"That is the most strange portrait of me. I've never seen anything like it don't give up your job." he wrote Sackett had originally posted the portrait, titled Cruz (Paint You a Picture), in May on his Instagram, where he reminisced about discovering the musician's discography in the 1980s I will always be thankful for this and have absorbed and slowly collected Cruz's music over the years, stretching back to his days as a founding member of the Byrd's and forward to the autumnal creative burst of recent years," Sackett wrote.
