Cape Reinga in New Zealand

This is Cape Reinga, located at the northern part of the North Island in New Zealand. It is 100 kilometers from Kaitaia, the nearest town. "Reinga" is a Māori word which means "the underworld" for which they believe that the place is where the souls enter the underworld. In this area you'll see the clashing tidal waves of the Pacific Ocean and Tasman. Also located in this area is the Cape Reinga lighthouse, a popular tourist destination.
