Small world. My dad was born in Quanah, Tx. His ancestors immigrated to Texas in 1854 from Germany. The English line from Atlanta about the same time.
Quanah is about a hundred and fifty miles or less from where I grew up.
When my father was about 8 yrs old the family moved up to Lawton, OK. My grandmother was 1/4 Cherokee.
